When my husband and I moved to Sonoma County 23 years ago, we'd get in the car and go exploring down a different road every day discovering new and unique things about Sonoma County. We had a passion for the area and loved sharing it with others. Family and friends would come and we'd tour them around, traveling down winding roads, through vineyards or overlooking the ocean. "How did you ever find this place?" would be the most common question and we'd just smile and say that it comes with driving around and not being afraid of getting lost. And now that we have a son, he is learning how to be a tour guide from the car seat in the back. For a 12 year-old, his sense of direction is amazing and he keeps hoping we'll get "lost" when traveling on a new road.
