We will be moving our tours to VoiceMap, a downloadable app that will be apple and android friendly! Right now we are updating the gps coordinates and laying down the detailed ground work. As soon as that is finished, we'll head into the recording booth to update the popular "The Bodega Bay Tour" and start work on the new tours. This self-guided adventure begins at Alfred Hitchcock’s legendary schoolhouse from The Birds, where spooky stories and fun photo ops await—this town is a certified classic haunt, after all!
Next, you'll be guided onto one of Sonoma County’s best-kept secrets: a stunning backroad hidden even from most locals. Enjoy breathtaking valley views and a rare, cinematic glimpse of Bodega Bay. View “Seal Rock,” choose from two coastal trails with sweeping ocean views, explore a natural tide pool, and hear the strange tale of Bodega Bay’s “Hole in the Head.” From there, travel to the untamed Sonoma Coast.The journey wraps with a visit to the beach from the finale of The Goonies, a hunt for sea glass, and a stop in the charming riverside village of Jenner—where the Russian River meets the Pacific in a picture-perfect finish.
NOTE: This is a soft adventure lasting between 4-8 hours depending on your pace and how long you stay at each location. A popular option is to split the adventure up between two days. You'll need to bring water, a camera, sunglassses, a light windbreaker jacket and good walking shoes. This tour is suitable for most adults and children aged 7 and older. Pets are restricted at most of the locations on this tour - especially the beaches - due to unsafe surf conditions.
Accessibility: Our tours require walking and hiking and are not suitable for wheelchairs and/or mobility scooters. Some of the sites along the way can be viewed from a vehicle window, but most are reached by walking.
